Thank you to all who attended our Spring Tea on May 3, 2023!
Hosted at the beautiful La Jolla Country Club, the “Sip to See, Springtime Tea” was an uplifting and delightful afternoon with friends in support of a worthy cause.
Guests enjoyed boutique shopping with many wonderful local vendors, a thoughtfully curated silent auction and opportunity drawing, the live pianist, and nationally recognized vision researcher, Dr. Anne M. Hanneken from Scripps Research.
The full tea service included herbal and caffeinated tea, a variety of tea sandwiches, a sweet selection of pastries, cakes, fresh fruit, and handmade savory treats, along with welcome champagne and wine.
This special afternoon provided the San Diego community a philanthropic opportunity to support cutting-edge research needed to cure hereditary childhood blindness.
