“A Night For Sight” 2019

The Temptations…

the legends of Motown, Took the stage to share their blockbuster hits, distinct harmonies and masterful choreography on Sunday, November 10th at the Vision of Children Foundation’s “A Night for Sight” located at the San Diego Marriott Del Mar.

The evening kicked off with a VIP Sponsor’s Cocktail reception prior to  the silent and super silent auction. The program began with an exciting live auction to raise the necessary funds to support Vision of Children research. Directly following the auction, Vision of Children Vision Hero and America’s Got Talent Golden Buzzer recipient, Christian Guardino took the stage to open for The Temptations and received a standing ovation from the crowd. Christian was among the first individuals in the world to receive sight restorative gene therapy for his vision disorder that had rendered him legally blind.

The Temptations took the stage and brought the entire crowd to their feet with their opening song featuring their iconic jazz, R&B style that launched their careers and has sustained their legacy for six decades. The evening wrapped up with The Temptations offering a final live auction item that allowed two guests from the audience to sing their signature song, “My Girl” with them.

All proceeds from the event will go to funding The Vision of Children Foundation led research.
